Does that mean that I've become wise, or stopped being wise? I'm not sure.
So yeah, got my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday, all four of them, which was kind of exciting/mildly terrifying. Went in at around 8 am, they gave me an IV with a sedative and told me they'd be back in 5 minutes and just told me to relax. So after what felt like 5 minutes later I wake up, 45 minutes have passed, and they tell me I'm done. Which was kind of a surprise. Although, I didn't really react because I was full of anesthetic.
Actually, I was full of anesthetic and painkillers for most of yesterday, which is pretty much the only reason that I didn't post about this then: because I had no desire to get out of bed because I was so very comfortable. Although, I did have to change gauze pads in my mouth every 30 minutes, that was kind of dull. But I guess I was too out of it to care very strongly about it.
I'm quite a bit more lucid today. Currently eating for the first time since Sunday evening, which is interesting. Have to stick to soft foods for now. Which isn't actually as limiting as you might think. Feeling... pretty normal actually, aside from a dull sensation in the sides of my jaw where I currently am missing some teeth. Apparently I'm going to be puffing up like a chipmunk in a few days, which should be interesting.
Not much else to say for the time being, aside from that this has been an interesting experience so far, and very painless considering the horrors my dad apparently had to go through. But that's a story for another time.
